In the wake of a devastating tragedy that claimed her parents and three siblings, a resilient older sister finds herself shouldering the weight of a solemn promise to her father: to safeguard her remaining brother’s life at any cost. Amidst the vast Mongolian landscape, she grapples with the profound legacy of preserving one’s lineage, ingrained deeply in her heritage.
”My Dear Sweet Sister” delves into the harsh truths of contemporary society, portraying the unique struggles each individual must confront. Despite earnest attempts to surmount challenges with dignity and virtue, the relentless tide of unforeseen circumstances coerces uneasy alliances to navigate treacherous waters. Just when hope flickers alive, the crushing revelation of a meticulously laid trap shatters all semblance of escape, testing the limits of resilience and resolve.
In 2023, research was published indicating that Mongolia is in first place globally when it comes to mortality rate due to cancer, consanguinity, and various accidents.
Where have the social welfare programs, legislations, and governmental bodies in Mongolia gone that are supposed to protect its citizens from these kinds of tragedies and guarantee basic dignity in life?
In the wake of a devastating tragedy that claimed her parents and three siblings, a resilient older sister finds herself shouldering the weight of a solemn promise to her father: to safeguard her remaining brother’s life at any cost. Amidst the vast Mongolian landscape, she grapples with the profound legacy of preserving one’s lineage, ingrained deeply in her heritage. Her journey becomes a poignant testament to the lengths one will go to honor familial bonds, even if it demands sacrificing her own well-being to fulfill her father’s enduring wishes.
The tragic accident that claimed her parents and three siblings, did not leave her little brother unscathed. Trying to protect her little brother who is gravely ill from the accident, she is led down a path of self sacrifice in order to fulfill her promise to her father to preserve their bloodline with all her might.
As an ophthalmologist with medical training, she finds herself having to harvest organs illegally for those who are looking for donors. She has taken on massive debt and is being blackmailed to complete a savage and barbaric task of finding and harvesting whatever organs that are needed from unsuspecting individuals.
Unable to escape the cruel predicament she is forced into, she eventually realizes that it was all a trap and that there is no getting away. She decides to embrace the life of crime and morphs into a ruthless serial killer. She hopes that one day her little brother will come to understand that she is doing everything in order to save him. Having recovered from his injuries, the little brother goes back to work at the police department as a detective and gets handed the case of the serial killer that’s been getting a lot of attention lately.
Eventually the little brother discovers that his sister is the infamous serial killer. He hides this fact from the public and decides to put an end to his sister’s life with his own hands in order to stop the endless killings and restore order. Did Justice win? Or did you win?
In 2023, research was published indicating that Mongolia is in first place globally when it comes to mortality rate due to cancer, consanguinity, and various accidents.
Where have the social welfare programs, legislations, and governmental bodies in Mongolia gone that are supposed to protect its citizens from these kinds of tragedies and guarantee basic dignity in life? In other countries, there are programs that are dedicated towards taking care of the disabled, needy, and overall unfortunate. Because Mongolia severely lacks these social safety nets, citizens are left grappling with sickness and ailments that cannot be treated at home and are forced to travel abroad, taking on massive debts in order to do so. This is painfully apparent in the countless fund-raising posts that have become so common on social media.
How are these less fortunate people supposed to save their loved ones? There has been an increase in cases of desperate people getting involved with vile vultures looking to prey on the weak, even at the cost of their lives. My Dear Sweet Sister attempts to depict the reality of misfortune descending on anyone at any time without discrimination, forcing those without means to make decisions that are morally ambiguous and scramble for any kind of influence, money, and power in order to save those that are dear to them, often against their good conscience.
Our team of creatives with many years of experience, skills and artistic vision will be working together, united by our passion for creating art. In 2012, I graduated from the University of Culture and Arts in Mongolia with an honors degree in acting and went on to receive my Master’s of Professional Studies degree in Producing and Writing from Missouri State University in 2019 with honors. Since 2012, I have successfully worked on multiple projects and accumulated experience in writing, theme selections, fundraising, and team building amongst other skills.
Our ability to pick a subject matter that is relevant to the current climate that will generate interest with precision and unmatched sense is what sets us apart. We’ve collaborated with many artists throughout the years and they have always expressed satisfaction with our work. This is my first solo project as an independent producer. I am confident in my professional ability as a producer to follow through on contractual obligations to the highest standards and demand the same from the artists that I will be signing onto the project.
When casting, I will be able to draw on my years of relationship building and land the best and most in-demand actors in the industry. From the preparation to the completion of the project, I will meticulously plan out the timeline and wrap up the work responsibly. I will be in charge of marketing, advertising and generating audience interest from start to finish.
Furthermore, all financial accounting reports from the beginning to the end of the production will be responsibly handed over to the investors according to the contract. Thank you for your attention and consideration and I am looking forward to our collaborative work.
